Welcome to CPG’s online home.  In 1986 we started the Cumberland Psychiatric Group (CPG) on the premise that we could improve quality of care and therefore achieve better outcomes more expeditiously with a treatment team.  Our goal is to treat as many ages and types of psychiatric problems with as diverse a group of problem solving talent.  Each clinician on our staff brings a different set of expertise to the team.  We accept most insurance plans but do not limit our therapeutic offerings to those covered by insurance.

We are unified by the philosophy that family involvement produces better outcomes and to that end we strive to achieve convenience for the treatment period.  We have four locations each staffed with MD’s and therapists.  When appropriate we use community resources such as NAMI, AA, and church and community support groups.
