I am a Board Certified, Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.  Born in Savannah, I attended Princeton University, University of Georgia, Medical College of Georgia and Northwestern.  My initial interest in the dynamics of Family Psychiatry, is complemented by a background and expertise in neurochemistry.  Although many families have been seeing me for years, my focus is on resolving the problems, while encouraging wellness by recognizing the strengths as well as the deficits people may experience.
